Science, Monitoring, and Data Sharing

Science guides every decision at Sabuli. Our rangers collect data on wildlife sightings, habitat changes, and threats using camera traps, transect surveys, and digital mapping tools. This information is shared with national biodiversity databases and partner research organizations such as the Somali Giraffe Project.

The data supports evidence-based decisions and helps us monitor the health of ecosystems over time. This scientific approach ensures that conservation actions are transparent, effective, and accountable to the community and partners.
